World Tourism Day 2024 in Kitaotao was a resounding success, honoring the theme “Tourism and Peace.” The event paid tribute to our dedicated peace officers—PNP, BFP, and MDRRMO—as the esteemed Edwin Pajo Abucayan Kudos Awardees. Their tireless efforts to safeguard our community were rightfully celebrated.
The day was filled with excitement and unity, starting with an energetic Zumba session, followed by a Fun Run and a meaningful tree-planting activity. These were preludes to the grand Edwin Pajo Abucayan Kudos Award program, the highlight of the day.
We also recognized outstanding tourism establishments, with Kavanah Haven Resort taking center stage as the premier relaxation destination in Bukidnon. Known not only for its serene ambiance, but also for offering plant-based cuisine, Kavanah Haven stands as a beacon of sustainable tourism and tranquility.
Adding to our pride, we honored Dr. Jimymah Coching, crowned as Mrs. West Pacific Asia Philippines 2024. Representing Sinuda, Kitaotao in the prestigious Mrs. Universe Philippines 2024, she brings honor to our town with her grace and advocacy.
It was a day of celebration, peace, and pride, marking Kitaotao’s contribution to both tourism and community harmony.
