The Bidding Conference for the Procurement of Goods was successfully conducted today in accordance with Republic Act No. 9184 and its Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR). This conference serves as a platform to clarify the technical and procedural aspects of the procurement process and to ensure all prospective bidders are guided by the principles of transparency, fairness, and competitiveness
The procurement projects presented were as follows:
- Supply and Delivery of Server Grade Machine
– Intended for the eTRACS Online Payment Transaction System of the Municipal Treasurer’s Office (MTO)
❌ Result: Declaration of Failure of Bidding due to non-submission of bids. - Supply and Delivery of Communication Equipment (Cellular Phones)
– For official use of the Sangguniang Bayan Office (SBO)
đź“Ś Result: Only one (1) bidder submitted a proposal; subject to post-qualification and compliance review.
This conference reaffirmed the commitment of the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) to uphold the principles of transparency, fairness, and competitiveness in all stages of public procurement. All proceedings were duly documented and conducted in compliance with the procurement rules and timelines.
